Astronomy Illustration Collage Sheets

These printable collage sheets are made up of vintage astronomy illustrations and charts from a 1797 edition of Encyclopedia Britannica. They include constellation charts and equipment.

I was impressed to see Britannica was still in operation. I wondered what became of encyclopedias. I remember every library from my childhood having bookcases full of different encyclopedia sets. Ironically, we were never allowed to use them as sources in any papers we wrote. I’m not sure why. Maybe they were afraid we would take the easy way out, and get everything we needed from that single source instead of pouring over a stack of miscellaneous books on our given subject.

Use these images in art journaling, junk journaling, bullet journaling, scrapbooking, collage, artist trading cards (ATCs) and other mixed media artwork.
