Language of Birds Collage Sheets

The vintage illustrations on these free printable collage sheets come from a book entitled, The Language of Birds. Published in 1837, the book features colorful pictures of popular pet birds of the day, along with poems, songs and other prose. Contrary to what the title implies, it doesn’t offer any insight into the communication of the birds themselves. I’m not sure if coffee table books were a thing at that time, but I would definitely have placed it in that category.
