Fish of the British Islands Collage Sheets
I love the expressions on some of the fish I used for these free printable collage sheets. The fish in the oceanside scenes seem especially puzzled by their surroundings.
As the title implies, the illustrations are from a book about the fish of the British Islands. It was published in the early 1860s.

Here is a sample art journal layout using one of the fish illustrations. I also used one of these Vintage Seashell Illustrations. The background is acrylic paint with stenciling and some paint pen marks. I added torn bits of painted paper to give the appearance of the fish swimming through seaweed, and a piece of torn paper bag to make the seashells stand out.
