Angels, Fairies & Maidens Collage Sheets

Interestingly enough, the beautiful watercolor illustrations on these free printable collage sheets come, not from a children’s fairytale book, but from a book entitled The Flower Book. The series of paintings in the book were created by Edward Burne-Jones from 1882 to 1898.

You may be asking yourself, “but where are the flowers?” Well, there aren’t any actual flowers in The Flower Book. Each painting was instead inspired by and named after various flowers such as Venus Looking Glass, Star of Bethlehem, Scattered Starwort, Flower of God, and others. He smartly chose only poetic-sounding flowers. I didn’t see any Lungwort, Spiderwort, or Swamp Louseworts.

Each circular illustration measures approximately two inches. There are two free printable sheets to choose from, each featuring completely different illustrations. Make sure you scroll all the way down to see them both.
